Come enjoy the excitement and energy of Classical Cabaret with U of L alumna, Dr. Erinn Evdokimoff Roberts, mezzo-soprano, with Music faculty Dr. Deanna Oye, piano. A program sure to delight and dazzle, with the thrilling spontaneity of Cabaret Songs by Bolcom, Britten and Weill.

Mezzo-soprano, Dr. Erinn Evdokimoff Roberts, a native of Lethbridge, Alberta, holds a Doctorate of Music in Voice/Opera performance from the University of British-Columbia, a Master of Music in Operatic performance from the same institution and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance from the University of Lethbridge.

Dr. Roberts has had the opportunity to perform leading roles on the operatic stage across Canada and abroad including, Tessa in The Gondoliers (Gilbert & Sullivan), Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte (Mozart), Rosette in Manon (Massenet), Isabella in L'Italiana in Algieri (Rossini), Gianetta in L'Elisir d'Amore (Donizetti), and Hansel in Hansel & Gretel (Humperdinck).  Leading performances in oratorio include Bach's Cantata #12, Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah and Dettingen Te Deum, and Mozart’s Requiem. In 2006, she was selected to fill the mezzo-soprano position in the Burton and Olive Kurth Pacific Opera Victoria Young Artist Program after a nation-wide audition.  Dr. Roberts has also starred in numerous musical theatre productions throughout Canada.  Main roles include Maria (The Sound of Music), Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Miss Hanigan (Annie), and Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins).  She is also an active recitalist and an accomplished pianist.

Dr. Roberts has held teaching positions at the University of Lethbridge, the Victoria Conservatory of Music, the BC Conservatory and the Upper Canada Academy of Performing Arts.  She currently teaches voice in Lethbridge, Alberta and is an active clinician and adjudicator.
