The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ginny Goulet of Monarch, a U of L senator who passed away earlier this week.
A vibrant and highly committed senator and dedicated volunteer, her loss will be keenly felt. At the U of L, she chaired the Outreach and Chancellor Nomination committees. Goulet was also active in the community and served as the run director for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure and served as a co-ordinator for the Relay for Life.
No funeral service is being planned and, in respect of her memory and to acknowledge her many contributions, the U of L will lower the flags for the remainder of Wednesday, August 26 and all day Thursday, August 27.
