Earlier today, a water break in University Hall resulted in the activation of the fire alarm system.

Water is now fully restored throughout University Hall.

Some students living in University Hall will be affected by this incident. Housing Services is communicating directly with these students. Work is being undertaken to ensure those affected are accommodated while space is cleaned and repaired.

Affected staff and faculty should preserve all damaged personal property for insurance purposes. Information about compensation will be sent out shortly. If you have questions about compensation, contact Anne Baxter, Director of Risk & Safety Services, at anne.baxter@uleth.ca or 403-382-7176.
