The Meeting of the Minds Journal is a radical and iconoclastic online journal of the GSA which promotes provocative and experimental research among upper level students, researchers, and faculty across all disciplines. Our unique approach reflects the changing nature of academic research and peer review, and as such, the Journal provides as a more welcoming and accessible platform for developing academic research. The development of an academic journal at the University of Lethbridge develops the University’s reputation as a Destination University and marks an important milestone for our institution.
To launch the Journal and to celebrate the inaugural Issue, we are hosting an event at the Zoo on March 25th at 8pm -- there is no cover charge. We would like to invite all students to this event to enjoy the evening and learn more about the Journal itself.
The event will be framed by a live band, Paul Kype and Texas Flood, followed by mixes from DJ Nick Reed; the evening will be broadcast live by CKXU along with mini-interviews conducted at the event.
