Join us for an Adults Only evening of SCIENCE!

Destination Exploration invites you to explore the Science of Every Day. This FREE event is all about participating in hands-on STEM activities in a fun and friendly environment - no experience necessary! Bring your friends and enjoy an exciting evening of science and technology experiments!

Workshops will include:

  • Get Clean - The chemistry behind your favourite household cleaners, shampoos, and soaps. Take home your own homemade bar of soap!

  • Eat This - Perform spherification and make fruit caviar. Extract DNA and learn the science of GMOs.

  • Tech That - Bulk up your computer coding skills and experience some fun technology!

This event is part of Science Odyssey 2018, Canada's largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, featuring fun and inspiring experiences in museums, research centres, laboratories and classrooms from coast to coast. Powered by NSERC, Science Odyssey demonstrates how discoveries and innovations shape our daily lives and foster a strong science culture in Canada.
