This course is offered jointly by the Privacy Office and Records Management, and is designed to help employees collect, use, and manage personal information for promotional and educational purposes in compliance with Alberta’s FOIP Act and the University’s records management policies. Participants will learn when and how to obtain consent to collect and use photos, videos, audio, and/or testimonials for educational or promotional purposes. They will also learn best practices for managing the consent forms and assets throughout their lifecycle.
