Soyaniskiipoyi (singing in the water) is from Piikani Nation. His English name is Jaron Weasel Bear. He has been a drummer/singer for a good part of his life. He started singing at the age of six, and has carried it throughout his lifetime and continues to this day. He performs at different functions, as well as powwows, teaching whoever is willing to learn. Piikani Blackfoot culture is very important to him, so he takes part whenever he can.
