Lethbridge Number Theory and Combinatorics Seminar

Date:

September 26, 2016

Time:

12:00-12:50pm

Lecturer(s):

Farzad Aryan (Université de Montréal)

Location:

University of Lethbridge

Topic:

On the zero free region of the Riemann zeta function

Description (in plain text format):

We discuss the possibility that the Riemann zeta function has a zero s+iT to the left of the classical zero free region. We will show how the existence of this zero forces the function to have many more zeros in the vicinity of s+iT or/and s+2iT.
