Intermediate Community Oral History Workshop (COHT) - Galt Museum & Archives

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

The University of Lethbridge’s Centre for Oral History and Tradition in partnership with the Galt Museum & Archives is offering an intermediate community oral history workshop that will provide participants the opportunity to further develop their own oral history projects.   Topics covered will include: analyzing oral history interviews, ethical conduct in human subject research, First Nations oral history and funding community projects.  This workshop builds upon the beginner community oral history workshops that were offered throughout the spring and summer but individuals who did not attend the beginner workshop are still welcome. Workshop leaders are university scholars and project managers with professional and scholarly experience in oral history-based research.
