I'll Show You Mine: Deconstructing Costume/Constructing Fashion

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Constructing Fashion consists of garments designed and constructed in Lethbridge College fashion courses by first and second year students. These garments are shown on the runway throughout the evening.

Deconstructing Costume is the Art Exhibition portion of the evening. Pieces created by university and college students, alumni, faculty, and staff are in any medium and will either be shown as static art pieces or on the runway.

The event also consists of the graduating Fashion students’ trade show booths which showcase the lines they have researched, designed, marketed, and constructed. These displays provide insight into the depth and breadth of the fashion program and industry. The projects reflect the skills and knowledge the students have developed throughout their diploma at Lethbridge College.

In addition, the evening will have a vendor market, Hawk + Harvest, where guests can purchase small goods from local artisans.
