Faculty of Education Professional Inquiry Project Symposium

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Pre-education students, parents of K-12 children and anyone interested in public education will enjoy this look into the daily work of educators and their students. Projects vary greatly and focus on such topics as literacy, the arts, physical activity, wellness, assessment practices and STEM.

The Professional Inquiry Project (PIP) is completed by all uLethbridge Education students in their final practicum. It allows Intern teachers the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of teaching through in-depth exploration of a question relevant to their particular context. The Symposium will feature 10-minute overviews of numerous projects, including a discussion of results and time for audience questions. The format will be concurrent sessions, with a break between each set of presentations.

PS III represents a culmination of experiences in the Faculty, and we are pleased to recognize the accomplishments of our interns.
