Culture Vulture Saturdays – Delft Art

September 27, 2014 | 10 AM – 5 PM
U of L Main Atrium

If you are attracted to the colour blue, this activity is made for you! We will drift across the ocean to land in Delft, The Netherlands and explore painting in the Dutch decorative tradition. Come and create stories from your real or imagined life in blue and white.

Culture Vulture Saturdays

The University of Lethbridge Art Gallery is open one Saturday per month for Culture Vulture Saturdays from September through June each year. In addition to providing an option to view the exhibition outside of our regular hours, these special Saturdays feature a hands-on art making activity related to the exhibition. The activities are geared to be flexible for all ages from kindergarten through to adults.

All materials are supplied, admission is free, and no booking is required. For button making there is a charge for making the buttons, however, in addition to off-setting the cost of materials, the remaining money is donated to various philanthropic organizations.

People are welcome to just view the latest exhibition Douglas Walker: Other Worlds or to also try the activity.
