HAVE YOU BEEN AVOIDING A DIFFICULT CONVERSATION?

Difficult conversations are tough and are usually high stakes, emotional and often involve risky topics.  Many of us lack the skills and tools to engage in these crucial conversation and avoid them at all cost or handle them poorly!

Studies show that the inability to discuss a problem can be more destructive than the problem itself.  Issues like poor productivity, declining quality, lack of teamwork, or strained relationships are often the effects of crucial conversations that are not being held or are not being held well.  There is an approach that can help clarify how to deal these difficult conversations or how you react to them to get different results than you may have achieved in the past.

Human Resources is excited to announce that we will be conducting Crucial Conversations training beginning this fall. Crucial Conversations is a training program based on a New York Times bestseller by the same name.  The intent of the program is to help individuals learn practical tools to enhance accountability, improve performance and ensure execution. You can view an overview of the Crucial Conversations course at https://www.vitalsmarts.com/products-solutions/crucial-conversations/
