Centre for Oral History & Tradition - Intermediate Workshop (Galt Museum & Archives)

The Centre for Oral History and Tradition Community Oral History will present an Intermediate community oral history workshop (October 21st; 9:30 - 4:15 p.m.; Galt Museum & Archives - 502 - 1st Street S) that will provide participants the opportunity to further develop their own oral history projects.   Topics covered will include: analyzing oral history interviews, ethical conduct in human subject research, First Nations oral history and funding community projects.  This workshop builds upon the beginner community oral history workshops that were offered throughout the spring and summer but individuals who did not attend the beginner workshop are still welcome. Workshop leaders are university scholars and project managers with professional and scholarly experience in oral history-based research.
