Careers in Chemistry: Balzac Gas Plant

Our own uLethbridge alum, Victor Januszewski, was employed at the Balzac Gas Plant for 37 years and has amazing facts and information to share about his experience as a laboratory technician.

Some of the topics to be included are:
• Gas quality specification in pipelines
• Gas chromatography
• Processing of gas such as sulphur recovery unit, gas sweetening, dehydration and dew point control and liquefied petroleum gas production
• Water analysis parameters for release
• Our changing atmosphere
• Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) production data
