Adam Whitford is a curatorial professional, writer, and occasional artist. He holds a BFA in Art & Design as well as an MA in the History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture from the University of Alberta. His research often considers the museum experience, the imagined objectivity of the photograph and the cultural lenses used to make sense of both over time. Whitford has upcoming curated exhibitions at the SAAG and previously worked for the Art Gallery of Alberta and the Woodstock Art Gallery. He is published by Canadian Art, Galleries West, the Art Gallery of Burlington, and the Woodstock Art Gallery.
