ART NOW - Leila Armstrong Speaks October 10th, 2015 at Noon in the Recital Hall

Leila Armstrong has an M.A. in Media Studies from Concordia University. She works both independently and in collaboration with other artists such as Darcy Logan, Maria Madacky, and Rick Gillis in M.E.D.I.U.M. (Metaphysical Explorations, Divinations, and Investigations Utilizing Magic).  Her most recent solo exhibition “Coyote” -- a body of work addressing the intersection of wildlife with rural, suburban, and urban spaces -- was shown at Casa in 2014.  Leila has also been involved in facilitating a variety of community-based exhibitions in Lethbridge including the Cabinet of Queeriosities series, 1-3.
