ART NOW - Brent Coulton Speaks March 14th, 2018 at Noon in the Recital Hall

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Brent Coulton (BFA, Emily Carr University of Art + Design) is a multi-disciplinary artist with a wide variety of interests and experiences that influence his creative projects. Having spent time as a member of an illegal artist-run space, a touring punk and noise rock musician, graffiti artist, and craftsman building boats and cars, his artistic undertakings are varied and inconsistent.

As an enthusiast of the art of storytelling, Brent's Art NOW presentation will touch on finding creative opportunities that exist beyond the institutional art world and accepting a sporadic and eclectic art-making practice that is rewarding, explorative, and spontaneous.
