Making a Spectacle of Myself: Art Eyewear and Related Works 

An Alumni of Distinction of the Alberta College of Art and Design, Jackie Anderson maintains an active studio practice in Calgary, Alberta. Her work experience includes working with museums galleries, architects and designers, lecturing and teaching workshops across Canada, and mentoring emerging jewellery artists. In a 40 year studio/exhibition career, she has participated in solo and group exhibitions, won numerous awards and been published in publications in Canada, the United States, Australia, Germany and Spain. Her work is included in public collections in the Canadian Museum of Civilization; the MacDonald Stewart Art Centre Collection, University of Guelph; The Metals Arts Guild of Canada and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, as well as numerous private and corporate collections. In 2002 she was inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.
