The inaugural Advanced Digital Technologies: Promoting Industry-Academic Collisions conference will take place in beautiful Lethbridge, Alberta, on September 20, 2018. The event aims to bring together academic researchers and industry partners to foster collaboration and make valuable connections which will work towards ultimately solving society's challenges in the area of digital technology.

The event will take the form of a panel discussion from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with representatives from banking, granting agencies, and corporations who focus on various aspects of digital technology (AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, etc) coming together to discuss how researchers can partner with local and international industry to solve challenges which the digital industry is currently facing.

The event will take place in the Markin Hall Atrium, with light refreshments and networking provided after the panel discussion. Everyone is welcome to attend, as this is a free event.
