“The workshops were superbly organized and provided an excellent educational experience for everyone.  The kids had lots of fun throughout the day and the combination of musical sectionals, recitals, masterclasses and swimming made the day complete.”

Located right downtown at Casa, the U of L Conservatory of Music is in the perfect location to offer customized workshops to schools and businesses. This can be great team-building exercises for employees, or a fun field trip for schools.

We have an extensive collection of world percussion instruments, and a very large rehearsal space. Drumming clinics are especially fun, and can be done with absolutely no music experience. Our percussion instructor, Marc Vantol (B.Mus), can offer customized experiences based on interest and experience.

Let us bring our beginner violin program right to your school!

The University of Lethbridge Conservatory of Music has limited spots still available to send our Suzuki certified strings instructor right to your school for group violin lessons for your students! You suggest the day and time, we book you into our schedule, and we create the course for your students to register in! Schools can pay us directly or we can set up an online course for your students to register and pay individually. The minimum number of students required is 15 (instrument rentals are also available).

Our instructor will come to your school each week to teach your students, between October, 2023 – April, 2024 (the program includes 20 lessons). You just need to provide the space for these groups lessons in your school. During the school year, we can work with your school to schedule performances or learn repertoire to integrate into your concert plans!

Email Music.Conservatory@uleth.ca to reserve your school’s spot today.

The deadline for schools to reserve this program is September 9, 2023. We will then send information for you to distribute to your students, and aim to start lessons October 8 (or once the minimum numbers have been achieved).
