100% of the funds raised will go into the subsidies offered to young musicians who participate in our Young Artists Music Academy. This program is subsidized by 70%, to make it affordable and accessible to anyone, ages 11-17 in our community. We are very proud to say that because of these subsidies, the Young Artists Music Academy is within reach for any committed teen-aged musician.

Kari's art can be found in over 100 retail locations accross Canada and the U.S.! She lives and paints in the beautiful Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. A graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design, she spent 20 years illustrating for various agencies, studios and corporations around North America. Today she pursues her own vision, working primarily in acrylic, often incorporating mixed media. You will not want to miss out on bidding on this beautiful piece! Karen graduated from the University of Waterloo with a major in environmental studies and a minor in fine arts, and later, an education degree from Queen's University. Painting took a serious turn after taking summer courses at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver. Numerous solo and group shows later, Karen has a growing art practice, and lives in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. She also enjoys encouraging the creative process in others and doing workshops particularly geared toward the reluctant artist. Besides painting, Karen divides her time between being mom, teaching high school fine arts, and running the trails behind her house with Bailey the wonderdog. Tony lives in the Crowsnest Pass and works out of the "Artists Collective Studio" in Coleman. He works in several mediums: oils, acrylic, watercolours, and a variety of drawing mediums. He crosses boundaries touching on high realism to the non-objective. He has had his work featured in numerous exhibitions. Diana Zasadny lives and paints in Southern Alberta where she was born and raised. She graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 1991. Her artwork is inspired by excursions in the deserts, prairies and mountains across Canada and the US. Diana’s artwork has been exhibited and collected in North America and internationally.
