Events

The School of Liberal Education, throughout the calendar year, host a number of events that speak to the four pillars of Liberal Education (breadth, connections, critical thinking, and civic engagement.  Two such events are the Liberal Education Living Room (Speaker Series) and the Social Justice Symposium.

Liberal Education Living Room (Speaker Series)

The Speaker Series highlights the connections between disciplines, bringing people together to discuss relevant issues and building a more engaged community of leaders, innovators, thinkers and doers.  Our series consists of 4 presentations (two in the Fall semester; two in the Spring semester).  Join the conversation.

School of Liberal Education Symposium
Our symposium brings the community and campus together to discuss relevant topics and research.  Our upcoming symposium, Building Communities, which took place on Friday, September 22, 2023, was a great success.  Check back regularly for updates on our 2024 symposium.
