2022 Bridge Prize
Celebrating short story fiction writing at the post-secondary level in Canada

The Bridge Prize awards $7,500 to the winning author and three finalists each receive $1,000. The 2020 competition drew over 340 entries from students attending 61 colleges and universities across nine provinces. The 2020 Bridge Prize Winners were announced on September 23, 2020.
The Bridge Prize is named after the iconic High Level Bridge that dominates the Lethbridge landscape, and for the intent of the competition to assist students pursuing literary careers to transition, or bridge, to the world of professional writing. The Bridge Prize inspires and motivates Canada's next generation of literary artists.
