The listing below includes indexes, collections of literature by publisher or repository, and finally reference tools. Web of Science (a citation database that tracks the evolution of research in a given field), PubMed (focus on biomedical literature), BioOne, BIOSIS, Bio & Ag Index and Environment Complete are all indexes. Sciencedirect, Wiley, Proquest Science, JoVE Biology, and bioRxiv are all databases of journals by publisher (i.e., not all inclusive).
