These instructions will create persistent links that work both on and off campus.

Instructions:

  1. Connect to a Engineering Village database from the Library's database page
  2. Conduct a search
  3. From the search results list,choose the relevant article, click on the Detailed link, then scroll to find the DOI
  4. To convert a DOI to a URL, precede it with the following:

http://dx.doi.org/

For example: 10.1659/0276-4741(2007)27[24:MCICAN]2.0.CO;2

Becomes: http://dx.doi.org/10.1659/0276-4741(2007)27[24:MCICAN]2.0.CO;2

Now add the UofL Library's proxy to your permanent link.

For example: http://dx.doi.org/10.1659/0276-4741(2007)27[24:MCICAN]2.0.CO;2

Becomes: http://0-dx.doi.org.darius.uleth.ca/10.1659/0276-4741(2007)27[24:MCICAN]2.0.CO;2
