We assist international students in adapting to university life socially, academically, and culturally. 

We also provide immigration advising on all student related topics, like study permit conditions, work regulations, work permits, visas and more!

We are here to support you in all aspects of your life, both as a uLethbridge student and as a visitor to Canada.

The English Language Institute (ELI) offers English language programs, including English for Academic Purposes (EAP).  Our EAP program prepares you to study at uLethbridge at the undergraduate or graduate level!

We also offer language support to current EAP students through our English Language Partner and Writing Tutor programs. 

The International Centre offers multiple volunteering opportunities for you, providing guidance, social support or English language tutoring to international students.

By volunteering with us, you can gain mentoring and leadership skills in a cross‐cultural environment, learn about other cultures and countries, as well as gain insight into Canadian culture!
