EAP Fall 2019 completion awards scholarship

Nana Asare Osei-Owusu, is one of the recipients of the Fall 2019 English for Academic Purposes Completion Award for his work in meeting the English Language proficiency requirements by completing the EAP program. Nana has demonstrated an eagerness to learn in the classroom and brought a refreshing and interesting perspective to classroom discussions. He inspired not only his peers but also his instructors. The English for Academic Purpose program has given Nana a strong foundation to start his first semester in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge. 

Nana has always dreamed of studying in Canada to transition his passion for sports into a career in sports. When he discovered uLethbridge’s Kinesiology program he knew it was a perfect fit. He already loved movement, and knew that Kinesiology would provide him opportunity to learn more about human movement and the critical role it plays in culture and the individual. Nana aspires to return home and give back to his community by creating athletic programs for children.
