How to Apply: 

1) Apply Online 

  • June 15 deadline for September (Fall) intake
    • Education and Health Science have earlier deadlines. Please see here.
  • September 15 deadline for January (Spring) intake

*Please note that not all programs are offered in the January intake. Please refer to program pages at www.uleth.ca/future-student for program intake availability. 

2) Submit transcripts and English Language Proficiency (ELP) to admissions@uleth.ca; please see detailed instructions here

3) If qualified, receive a Letter of Acceptance. If ELP is not met, receive an admissions status update explaining the condition to be met. This will arrive in the form of an Academic Requirements Met - English Language Outstanding Letter. 

4) Apply for English for Academic Purposes as a way of meeting the ELP.

5) Apply for a Canadian Study Permit.

6) Wait for communication from the International Student Advisor for pre-departure information.

Authorized designate instructions:

  1. Agents must be listed as the students authorized designate in order to communicate on the students behalf for the application process
  2. Once an application has been submitted, students may log into their student account on “the Bridge” (login details will be provided to the email applied with)
  3. Add the agent company name to the Emergency Contact/Authorized Designate tab. List agent as Authorized Designate - Admissions.
  4. If the agent is also communicating with ULethbridge regarding the student's fee payments or receipts, also list the agent as Authorized Designate - Fees.
  5. The Bridge may also be used as a tool to see the documents required and the application status

Commission dates and deadlines:

  • June 1 (Summer EAP only)
  • October 1 (Fall Undergraduate & EAP)
  • February 1 (Spring Undergraduate & EAP)
