Managing Office 365 Resource Settings and Permissions
A resource is a non-person related account, representing either a room, or a piece of equipment that is available for booking. These resources can be booked by a person using meeting invitations in Outlook.
By default, a new resource will be created with one or more people set as “owners”, giving them full access to modify its settings and permissions. IT Services may assist with the initial permissions setup for people allowed to make bookings, but owners should strive to maintain this list, keeping up with people coming and going from their department.
