The University provides a many software titles for faculty, staff, and students through a variety of vendor agreements. Software is generally provided at reduced educational rates or possibly free of charge depending on the circumstances.
For Work Use:
The University is able to procure software at a greatly reduced cost as a result of numerous educational license agreements it has in place. University-owned machines provided for faculty and staff by Information Technology Services (ITS) come with our standard software preinstalled at no charge. Additional software is also available, or can be purchased, depending on specific departmental requirements.
For Student or Personal Use:
Faculty, staff and students can obtain software for personal/home use either free or at discounted educational pricing. ITS does not generally provide end-user support for software obtained by students, or faculty and staff for personal use. A variety of software titles are available; for more information use the links on the left or visit the IT Store.
If you are unsure what software you require or how you should purchase it please contact the IT Services Solutions Centre for further assistance.
