As the University of Lethbridge continues to deal with the rapidly evolving situation surrounding COVID-19, we are determined to support our students who remain in campus housing. The University has recently adjusted the status of campus to “Restricted Access” only. We understand you may have questions regarding this new development. We hope this document will assist with your inquiries. Below are some answers to frequently asked questions we are receiving. If you have further questions, please contact covid19.inquiries@uleth.ca.
Q: Who should I contact if I think I have COVID-19?
A: Visit the Alberta Health Services website and fill out the COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool. Follow their direction as required. If you are in immediate distress, please call 911.
Q: Are counselling services still available?
A: Yes! All counselling sessions will be conducted via telephone or Zoom. To book an appointment, contact 403-317-2845 or counselling.services@uleth.ca. Therapy Assist Online is also available to all students along with recommended tips on how to manage anxiety during this stressful period.
Q: What are my food options now that campus has moved to Restricted Access?
A: As of March 26th, 2020 at 4:00pm the University of Lethbridge’s Urban Market will be closed and students may use their dining plan to order from Pizza 73 here in Lethbridge. If you are a student with a dining plan, the campus vending machines will remain open for the duration of your stay. At the bottom of this page you will find additional shopping resources located in West Lethbridge.
Q: Will security services still be on campus?
A: Yes! Campus security services will remain on campus and will be available either online at https://www.uleth.ca/campus-safety or by phone at 403-329-2345. Students are encouraged to contact security services regarding their inquiries as our University security staff continue to deal with the evolving challenges faced by COVID-19.

Q: Do I still have access to campus resources for studying?
A: Yes. Though we strongly encourage you to study within your residence room, to align with the provincial requirements to maintain physical distancing, Anderson Hall remains open for students from 8:00am - 8:00pm should you need to borrow a laptop or access a computer. These spaces are monitored to ensure physical distancing and cleanliness and will remain open throughout the exam season.
