Letisha Peterson

Letisha Peterson is fortunate to be the child of parents that both attended the University of Lethbridge.  She also attended the UofL,  receiving a Bachelor of Arts (Native American Studies), a Bachelor of Education (Native Education), and a Master of Education (Special Education).  Letisha has applied her liberal arts education to a variety of diverse teaching assignements with Northland School Division No. 61, Palliser Regional Schools and Lethbridge School Division No. 51 (where she is currently teaching).  She has fulfilled the role of Program Director for the South-West Special Education Council, "Read-On" program volunteer, and St. Mary's Sailing Club member.

Through her time on Senate, Letisha has enjoyed many opportunities to represent the University.  Her favourite event was the University Cup in Men's hockey held at the Enmax Centre March 2019.  Letisha also appreciates opportunities to participate in campus life and volunteer at convocation ceremonies, sporting events, and attending lectures.
