John Sheriff is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge. Dr. Sheriff is passionate about education, particularly statistics education. He is actively involved in the development of the statistics curriculum at the University of Lethbridge, and has served as Program Coordinator since the inception of the program. He participated in the development of the Curriculum Guidelines for Canadian Undergraduate Programs in Statistics, and is involved with Census at School, an international classroom project designed to engage K-12 students in statistical reasoning. Dr. Sheriff is also dedicated to service work at the University of Lethbridge, participating on committees, performing outreach, and volunteering at campus events.
