Carey Rowntree

Carey has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, specializing in secondary physical sciences and mathematics.  He ocmpleted a Master of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge, with a focus on leadership and technology implementation.  He taught on year with the Yeallowhead School Division before joining the Lethbridge School District at Winston Churchill High School in Lethbridge as a Science/Math teacher, Vice-Principal, IB Coordinator and Principal.

Carey coached high school football for 12 years, including 5 years as a Provincial U-19 coach.  He has been a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol for 28 years serving at the local, regional and national levels of the organization, in addition to providing volunteer first aid and rescue service at Castle Mountain Resort.  He is an active supporter of community sport and arts events.
