Program Description

What is CPA Bridging?

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is Canada’s foremost business designation, and demand for CPAs is growing in every industry.

If you have a four-year degree in any discipline, you can transition into a career as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with CPA Bridging. You don't need prior accounting courses or work experience, so you can become an accounting and finance professional without a business background. Complete the business and accounting courses needed for entrance into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), the certification program for the CPA designation, while you continue to work full time; additionally, you take only the courses you need. If you've already completed some PEP prerequisite courses, you'll complete CPA Bridging more quickly. Our custom program planning gets you into your new career as soon as possible.

Designed with the needs of adult learners, career changers and internationally-trained professionals in mind, uLethbridge offers evening and weekend courses at our Calgary Campus, and weekday courses at our Lethbridge Campus. You’ll benefit from quality classroom instruction from our experienced faculty, as well as enjoy a variety professional development and mentorship opportunities.
