Graduate Students’ Association (GSA)
The Graduate Students' Association (GSA) at the University of Lethbridge is a graduate student body, elected by our peers to represent graduate student issues at various levels of the University. Our mandate is to identify graduate student needs in order to ensure policies across the University advocate for students appropriately. The GSA runs social and wellness events all through the year in an effort to encourage the graduate students to come together with their peers. The Meeting of the Minds inter-disciplinary conference is held in March every year and is one of the GSA's biggest events.
We also run a mentorship program for incoming students called "First Impressions." First Impressions pairs up an incoming student with a current graduate student in order to make their transition to graduate school life, the move to Lethbridge and the whole uLethbridge experience more valuable. Students are paired up according to their program, faculty or any other specific parameter they ask for.
The GSA also has scholarships, travel awards and volunteer awards available to graduate students. For more information on what the GSA can do for you, please visit www.ulgsa.org/
