Research expertise

Dr. Bomhof's research investigates how exercise affects appetite and why it is difficult to reduce weight through exercise alone. His research examines how nutrition and dietary patterns impact exercise-induced appetite response. With a better understanding of how physical activity and nutrition interact to affect metabolism and eating habits, it is hoped that we may ultimately be able to develop more effective strategies to treat obesity and associated metabolic disease.
