Months before convocation, management student Frazer Sloan (now an alumnus) accepted a position with The Boston Consulting Group (the #3 employer to work for in 2016, according to Fortune Magazine). As a student, Frazer was one of 10 business students in Canada to receive the prestigious Futures Fund Scholarship. The scholarship was based on his academic grades, extracurricular involvement and leadership initiatives — including the IME, the Student Managed Investment Fund classes, the Student Professional Development Program, his work as the vice-president of finance for the Management Students’ Society and his participation in various case competitions.
