Starting as a student at the University of Lethbridge in 2003, Kelly Morris has not veered far from a post-secondary institution since then. Completing a diploma in Communications – Advertising and Public Relations from Lethbridge College in 2007, Kelly was awarded the Meloche Monnex Fellowship in Advancement, kick starting a career in post-secondary communications, development and alumni relations. After the one-year fellowship, Kelly took on the role of Alumni Relations Specialist at Lethbridge College and began working on a degree through Athabasca University completing her Bachelor of Professional Arts – Communications in 2014. Kelly returned to the University of Lethbridge in 2012 when she joined the Faculty of Fine Arts supporting the Advising and Communications Offices, and took on the role of PR/Communications Officer in 2017.
Kelly is a detail oriented strategic planner, a proven communicator, event planner, social media strategist, and brand and project manager. Kelly is a creative thinker driven by deadlines and the thrill of uncovering a great story. Her current portfolio includes sponsorship and event planning for the Faculty of Fine Arts annual student scholarship fundraiser Abbondànza, and promotion and communication of the successes of our students, alumni and faculty through storytelling, social media and communication strategy.
