Jess Colley is a fifth-year Art Studio student who will obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts in May 2020. Her practise seeks to intimately and intuitively describe the world she inhabits, interpreting both memory and place in an abstract and often unrecognizable way. The relationship between what is seen and what is felt is important in her work and is reflected through mark-making with a variety of materials, such as paint and graphite.
