Living & Learning Community

2020-2021

WELCOME to the Faculty of Fine Arts Living & Learning Community

Univeristy of Lethbridge Fine Arts students living in Residence have the opportunity to be a part of the Fine Arts Living & Learning Community (FA-LLC). Members of this community will be connected with other students within the Faculty of Fine Arts. Our faculty is comprised of four departments: Art, Drama, Music, and New Media. Students will have the opportunity not only to connect with students from their home department but with other students from across all departments. “No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it.” – H.E. Luccock

COVID-19 UPDATE

Given the challenges presented by the Coronavirus, the Living & Learning Community in the University’s residence halls this academic year will not be running in the same capacity as it has in the past.

Our decision has ultimately been informed by the University’s over-riding concern for health and safety of all on our campus, as informed by public health guidelines, and the implications this has for the experiential engagement the Living & Learning Community we would normally have with Faculty and fellow students.  Unfortunately, given our current limitations, we cannot offer this in-person opportunity in the same capacity.

For those of you who can join us in Lethbridge in September, we are exploring ways for us to get together in meaningful ways, but for now we must focus on what we are able to effectively deliver.  We will be offering targeted access to Fine Arts Advising at crucial times as we have in the past, and other opportunities may present themselves as the year progresses. Please keep an eye on our website for more information about the Fine Arts Living & Learning Community through out the year.
