University of Lethbridge students can now opt in for UPass.
The University is pleased to offer students the opportunity to opt in to the Universal Transit Pass (UPass) program starting October 22, 2020. This opt in program will be offered for the Fall 2020 and the Spring 2021 terms. The UPass program offers an environmentally friendly and sustainable program.
The current cost for the UPass per term is $82 (subject to change based on City of Lethbridge Transit rates) and can be paid in person at the Cash Office in Anderson Hall between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. You will need to provide your U of L ID number and picture ID. The fee can be paid by cash, cheque or debit card. The cost will be the same, regardless of when you make the purchase during the term, and will not be prorated.
Terms run through the following months:
Fall — September 1 to December 31
Spring — January 1 to April 30
If you already have a University of Lethbridge ID card your UPass will be activated the day after your fee is paid. The UPass will expire at the end of each term if payment has not been made for the new term.
