2020 Parking Permit Lottery **Maybe Subject to Further Delay**

For the upcoming academic year September 2020 –August 2021, student parking permits will be drawn through a lottery system, as was the process last year.

Students living in residence will apply for a parking permit during their Check-in through Housing Services, not through the parking lottery.

To be eligible for the permit sale you need to be an admitted student at the University of Lethbridge by July 9, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.

Your offer of admission must be accepted and, for newly admitted students, your tuition deposit must also be received by July 9, 2020 at 4 p.m. to be included in the lottery.
Please take into consideration the expected delivery date of your tuition deposit, including the length of time for Canada Post mail delivery and online banking processing times.

All correspondence about the permit lottery will be sent to your student “” email accounts. If you have not set up your uLethbridge account login and password, please do so now by visiting

Eligible continuing and newly admitted students will enter the lottery through a customized email link from Campus Mobility Services (, which will be sent on Monday, July 13, 2020.

You will have until Thursday, July 16 at 12:00 p.m. to complete the lottery form, including your preferred parking lots ranked in order of preference. There is no advantage to submitting your request earlier or later during the above period — every request submitted has an equal chance of being granted a permit. The permit request form can only be submitted once.

If you do not receive an email with a link on July 13, first check your Spam folder. If it isn’t there, contact for assistance.

For information on prices, lot assignment, accessibility passes, payment, FAQ’s on the lottery etc. visit the Mobility Services website:

Your renewal email for the upcoming academic year will be sent Monday, April 20, 2020 ** Maybe Subject to Further Delay**. Instructions to switch your parking permit, if you wish to do so, will be included in the email information. Stall allocation will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Faculty, staff and Students may purchase a general parking permit in any available permit parking lot on campus, except those areas reserved for resident students.

Employees have the option of purchasing their permit through payroll deduction. Payroll deduction applications normally purchased online are now unavailable.
