The Addictions Counselling major at the University of Lethbridge is the only one of its kind in Canada. The program gives students the skills to guide people through the addictions counselling process.
The core of our work in Public Health is to take steps to prevent chronic and infections disease before it occurs. Come be part of this exciting and rapidly expanding field and have a positive influence on your world.
This session will introduce prospective students to the courses available in the Aboriginal Health Program - taken as a major or minor concentration or as a two-year post-diploma program. This major examines the factors that contribute to Indigenous health, strength, and resilience in Canada. Learn the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to develop and deliver a diverse range of culturally infused and supportive wellness services for Indigenous people.
This university gives back what you put into it. The Faculty of Heath Sciences especially, is extremely driven by student success and engagement. If you are willing to show up and demonstrate consistent work ethic, it will be noticed. The University of Lethbridge is the ideal place to explore your life and career goals, because you’ll be supported every step of the way. I always felt like I could succeed because there was so much support available in every area of campus. I know my time there set me up for success in graduate school, but I am sad to be leaving such an incredible school.”
