The Dhillon difference
Founded in 1975, the Dhillon School of Business is the future of finance and business innovation. This difference is attained by focusing on leading-edge technologies and emerging industries, advancing innovative business research by renowned thought leaders, and delivering an outstanding student experience that integrates theory and practice with industry experiences. The result is students who are empowered to become the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Experiential learning
We believe students learn best when they practice theory in the real world. Our instructors will connect their cutting-edge, original research to your learning in the classroom. You’ll have the chance to make that theory come alive through applied studies courses, case competitions, industry experiences, hands-on technology in the classroom and more.
Diversity
An internationalized campus is important to us. We value diversity of thought from our faculty and students and believe that global perspectives are critically important as we interact and do business in a cross-cultural world.
Emerging technology
With a focus on leading-edge finance, the Dhillon School of Business will offer a series of courses starting in the fall of 2018 that focus on innovation in business. Some of the topics we hope you'll explore with us include emerging financial technologies (FinTech) like blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and new growth industries such as artificial intelligence.
Social Responsibility
We believe business leaders must take the lead in promoting philanthropy in governments, non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses. You will learn about theories of social responsibility in many of your classes and how you can give back.
Flexibility
We strive to serve the needs of traditional university students, working professionals and executives by offering classes in both Lethbridge and Calgary, with a focus on evening and weekend classes in Calgary.
