Poster Presentations

Posters should be 3 feet by 4 feet, (landscape) to be affixed to the bulletin boards that will be provided. They are not meant to be simply "mounted papers", so papers will need to be simplified to create an effective presentation. They should convey the central message clearly through the use of a good design that is intuitive and easy to read and follow. In addition, lengthy bibliographies should be avoided. The letter size should be at least 18 point (20-24 is preferable), and an effort should be made to limit the amount of text to approximately 1500-2000 words so that they can be read in less than 10 minutes. No electric power will be available for posters. Thumbtacks will be provided, but it is expected that presenters will bring any other materials needed for mounting the presentation.
