Campus Safety is administered by an Executive Director. Campus Safety, sometimes referred to as "Security" is comprised of five units: Security Services; Risk & Insurance; Safety Services; Emergency Management; and Parking Services. These units work together to enhance the safety of students, staff, faculty, property and the environment.

The University of Lethbridge Crisis & Emergency Management Plan requires pre authorized users. The authorized users are part of our Emergency Management Team and have specific roles and responsiblilities before, during and after emergencies.

One of the programs offered at the University of Lethbridge is the Safewalk Program. Pairs of volunteers, are available upon request to escort students, staff and faculty around campus for your safety. Safewalk is offered during fall and spring semesters each year. If outside the normal operating hours of the Safewalk volunteers, Security Services will make sure you get to where you need to be safely as well.
