Campus Safety is administered by the Chief Safety Officer and is comprised of four operational units: Safety Services, Security Services, Emergency Management, and Insurance & Risk Services. These units work together to enhance the safety of students, staff, faculty, property and the environment.

The University of Lethbridge Crisis & Emergency Management Plan requires pre authorized users. The authorized users are part of our Emergency Management Team and have specific roles and responsiblilities before, during and after emergencies.

GET OUT - HIDE - FIGHT! Remember your training in the Active Shooter Presentation. If you have not seen the presentation, request a viewing by contacting the Emergency Preparedness Advisor or emailing oem@uleth.ca

One of the programs offered at the University of Lethbridge is the Safewalk Program. Pairs of volunteers, are available upon request to escort students, staff and faculty around campus for your safety. Safewalk is offered during fall and spring semesters each year. If outside the normal operating hours of the Safewalk volunteers, Security Services will make sure you get to where you need to be safely as well.
