What is Accounting?
Accounting is more than "number crunching." In fact, nowadays, computers do most of the basic bookkeeping. Accountants are at the center of the organization, influencing all of its decisions. So, in addition to being able to quickly analyze and interpret facts and figures, you have to have a high level of integrity, good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, the ability to work with others at all levels of the organization, and strong communications skills.
