YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Make an impact in the lives of students by supporting the Student Emergency Bursary. This goes to provide aid for current uLethbridge undergraduate or graduate students experiencing severe short-term financial duress exacerbated by an emergency situation.

thank you tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that’s looking for ways to help communities in response to COVID-19.

Giving Tuesday Now is a global generosity movement that’s looking for ways to help communities in response to COVID-19. uLethbridge decided to flip the script and rename the day Thank You Tuesday to celebrate those who support our students during this crisis and beyond. Follow along on social media as our students, faculty and staff say THANK YOU to our uLethbridge community near and far.

They are our alumni, our family, our friends and our neighbours.

Each evening, let’s come together as a uLethbridge family and show our appreciation for the front-line heroes with a 7 p.m. cheer. Join the nightly international celebration and share a photo of you honking, clanging, ringing and cheering for the front-line heroes who are working so hard to keep us safe. #ulethcares

Whether you’re brushing up on your 3rd grade math skills or your office mates are suddenly the four-legged type, we want to see how you’re making the most of your remote-lifestyle.

Don your University of Lethbridge gear and use the hashtag #ulethfromhome to show us how you’re staying blue and gold while social distancing.

And now for some good news...

uLethbridge alumna nurtures bodies and minds during COVID-19

Despite the social distancing requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic, University of Lethbridge alumna and local artist Brittany Lewis (BA ’16) has found ways to give back to her community. As the owner of Jasmine&Charcoal, Lewis creates custom portraits and prints, ranging from children to families to pets. During this time of social distancing, Lewis and her family have been spending time gardening and drawing.

His lyrics connect and inspire. With social distancing measures well under way, uLethbridge alumnus and local musician John Wort Hannam (BA/BEd ’96) is sharing songs from home as part of his ‘COVID-19 sessions.’

Campus Care Parcel program, part of Nourish, goes ahead thanks to innovative distribution solution

Food security issues do not subside during national emergencies, rather they are often enhanced. As society has been forced to function in entirely different ways throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Lethbridge and its partners devised a plan to keep one of their most important initiatives alive – the Spring Campus Care Parcel giveaway.
